Textiles Committee, with six decades of experience in inspection and testing of textile and apparel products is being nominated by various central/state departments, organizations, and agencies to assess the production capacity of their vendors before placing the supply order/contract for purchase of textile and clothing items.

The potential vendors/manufacturers interested in participating in public procurement tenders/RFP for textile and clothing items may get their in-house production capacity for spinning, weaving, and processing assessed through Textiles Committee, which has a PAN India network of offices.

The assessment of production capacity is carried out by a team of technical officials through on-site verification of the in-house manufacturing facilities, and a report is issued to that effect. Such assessment is carried out only against a particular tender/RFP.
