The Textiles Committee hereby notifies the Draft Regulations on Labelling and Markings for Textiles Apparels and Made-Up Articles 2025, framed under the powers conferred by Section 23 of the Textiles Committee Act, 1963. These Regulations provide the framework for labeling of garments/made-ups for sale in India, to protect the interest of the Indian consumers and to align with International practices.  All stakeholders including manufacturers , importers, traders are advised to provide their feedback and suggestions, etc. to depqa.tc@nic.in on or before 30th April, 2026  or write to The  Director (EPQA), Textiles Committee at the address below with the subject Labelliing and Marking for Textiles Apparels and Made-up Articles – Feedback
