Terms and Conditions:
  1. The bid shall be on letter-head of the bidder and submitted in a sealed cover  mentioning “Repairing of window and white wash & painting painting of residential quarter at Poonam Apartment, at Textiles Committee, Prabhadevi, Mumbai” on or before 05.11.2024 till 3.00 PM.
  2. EMD :  Interest free EMD of Rs.8000/- by way of Demand Draft in favour of “Textiles Committee” to be submitted along with bid. Non submission of requiste EMD shall reject the bid. The EMD of unsuccessful bidders shall be returned back within 45 days after selection of successful bidder. EMD shall be forfeited incase of alteration of quoted rates and/ or non acceptance of work order after selection/ placement of work order.
  3. Performance Security: The successful bidder shall deposit 5% of total value of contract with Textiles Committee by way of DD as interest free security deposit. In case of non satisfactory performance or breach of contracts the performance security @ 5% so deposited with Textiles Committee shall be forfeited.
  4. The proposed work is enclosed only for reference/ explanatory purpose. The rates shall only be quoted on actual site visit.
  5. The bidder shall visit the residential  quarter at Poonam Apartment, Dr A.B.Road, Worli, Mumbai -400018 for inspection & measurement at site before due date & time only.
  6. Textiles Committee shall not be responsible for any delay in receipt of bid or non-receipt of bid sent by post/ courier. The parties shall submit the bidby post/ courier/ hand delivery in the Admn-HK division of Textiles Committee, Mumbai on or before the due date.
  7. Textiles Committee has the right to accept or reject all or particular bid at any time without assigning any reason thereof.
  8. Payment Terms: The payment will be made on satisfactory completion of work as per the specification contained in the work order and within the time as stipulated in work order. No advance payment.
  9. No damage shall be caused to the property of Textiles Committee & to the property of housing society & nearby houses while carrying out the assigned work. Any damage to the aforesaid properties shall be recovered from the selected party in terms of money or replacement/repair of said property.
  10. The work should be carried out within 30 days at the said site at Worli Mumbai at the said cost after receipt of theWork Order.
  11. The bid should be on actual site visit as per specification given on bidders letterhead.
  12. The Textiles Committee, a statutory body under the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India invites applications for the post of Young Professional as Project Assistant (Textile Testing) for a period of 3 years @ Rs.26,000.00 per month for the first year and thereafter 3% increase in the stipend based on their performance evaluation for the remaining 2 years period. Engaging of Project Assistant (Textile Testing) at the Laboratories of Textiles Committee is aimed to impart and enhance the skill sets of candidates on textile testing.   The selected Project Assistant (TT) will be given in-depth training on the various aspects of textile testing as well as the analysis of the test data.   The Young Professional term with the Textiles Committee will serve as a platform to gain a comprehensive understanding and experience on the quality aspects of textile testing.

Total No. of Young Professionals designated as Project Assistant (Textile Testing) :   40  {i.e.  Bangalore : 4, Chennai : 3, Delhi (NCR) : 3, Guntur : 1, Hyderabad: 4, Jaipur : 2, Kanpur : 1, Kannur : 1, Karur : 1,  Mumbai : 10 (HQ : 7  + JNPT : 3)}, Tirupur : 3,Coimbatore : 5, Ludhiana : 1 & Kolkata : 1.

Age limit:- Minimum :  21 years and Maximum : 35  years.

Essential Qualification: B.Sc (Physics or Chemistry) or B.Tech in Textile Technology

  1. The minimum/maximum age limit shall be reckoned as on 31st March, 2024

  1. No allowances/compensations are applicable other than the consolidated stipend amount of Rs. 26,000.00 per month on a six-day-per-week-working basis.  During the period, no earned leave or medical leave is permitted.  Only 8 days casual leave are admissible.

  1. The Committee reserves the right to restrict the number of candidates to be called for interview on the basis of qualification and experience.

  1. Selection will be done by interview/written test which will be intimated to the candidates.
