Conditions for Candidates

1. The candidate should bring the application in the prescribed format as per (application form) accompanied by a self-attested copy of certificates and testimonials and a recent passport size photograph at the time of the walk-in interview.
2. The candidate should bring their original supporting documents (D.O.B., education, experience, valid Government ID, etc.) at the time of the walk-in interview for verification.
3. If the candidate does not fulfill the eligibility criteria or the documents are not verified, he/she will not be eligible for further processing and will be treated as rejected.
4. No allowances/compensations are applicable other than the consolidated pay.
5. During the period, no earned leave or medical leave is permitted. Paid leave of absence will be allowed at the rate of 1 day for each completed 1.5 months of service or will be given as per rules.
6. Candidates should note that, if, at any stage of engagement, it is found that the candidate has submitted any false/fabricated information/documents, his or her candidature will be cancelled immediately, and he/she will be liable for action as per the law or rules.
7. The offer is purely on a temporary basis and for a short-term period, as mentioned in the advertisement. No right shall be conferred on the selected persons for appointment on a regular basis or for continuation beyond one year. The candidate should note that their candidature at all stages of engagement is purely on a contract basis.
8. No TA/DA will be paid for the purpose of attending the interview.

 TEXTILES COMMITTEE

The Textiles Committee, a statutory body under the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India invites applications for the post of Young Professional as Project Assistant (Textile Testing) for a period of 3 years @ Rs.26,000.00 per month for the first year and thereafter 3% increase in the stipend based on their performance evaluation for the remaining 2 years period. Engaging of Project Assistant (Textile Testing) at the Laboratories of Textiles Committee is aimed to impart and enhance the skill sets of candidates on textile testing.   The selected Project Assistant (TT) will be given in-depth training on the various aspects of textile testing as well as the analysis of the test data.   The Young Professional term with the Textiles Committee will serve as a platform to gain a comprehensive understanding and experience on the quality aspects of textile testing.

Total No. of Young Professionals designated as Project Assistant (Textile Testing) :   40  {i.e.  Bangalore : 4, Chennai : 3, Delhi (NCR) : 3, Guntur : 1, Hyderabad: 4, Jaipur : 2, Kanpur : 1, Kannur : 1, Karur : 1,  Mumbai : 10 (HQ : 7  + JNPT : 3)}, Tirupur : 3,Coimbatore : 5, Ludhiana : 1 & Kolkata : 1.

 (*)The number of Young Professional (TT), place of interview and regions are subject to changes as per the Textiles Committee requirements.

Age limit:- Minimum :  21 years and Maximum : 35  years.

Essential Qualification: B.Sc (Physics or Chemistry) or B.Tech in Textile Technology

OTHER CONDITIONS :

1. The minimum/maximum age limit shall be reckoned as on 31^st March, 2024

1. No allowances/compensations are applicable other than the consolidated stipend amount of Rs. 26,000.00 per month on a six-day-per-week-working basis.  During the period, no earned leave or medical leave is permitted.  Only 8 days casual leave are admissible.

1. The Committee reserves the right to restrict the number of candidates to be called for interview on the basis of qualification and experience.

1. Selection will be done by interview/written test which will be intimated to the candidates.

1. The offer is purely on temporary basis and for a short term period of 3 years.   No right shall be conferred on the selected persons for appointment on a regular basis or for continuation beyond one year.
